Middle School STEM students make an igloo
Posted on 11/29/2023
STEM classDeb Darling’s middle school STEM students are currently building an igloo using plastic milk jugs to learn about heat transfer and to understand how someone or something can stay warm inside. In preparation, the students worked on their designs using marshmallows.

The milk jug igloo is being decorated with holiday lights and will be featured as part of a float in this Thursday evening’s JC Holiday Parade at 7 p.m. on Main Street. The students are also making penguins, trees, and snowflakes for inclusion on the float. We encourage you to check it out!
