JC Schoolsā€™ Wildcat Food and Clothing Center Receives $50,000 Grant

check presentationThe Johnson City School District’s Wildcat Food & Clothing Center was the recipient of a $50,000 check courtesy of the Town of Union at last night’s Johnson City Board of Education Meeting.

Town Board members, including Broome County Legislator Louis Augostini (District 12), were in attendance to present the check. The Town of Union selected the Johnson City School District as one of the recipients of the CDBG-CV grant.

The Wildcat Food & Clothing Center opened its doors at the high school in October 2022 and is run by the district’s JC Connects community zone program to help district students and families in need.
