The Johnson City School District recently completed state-required lead testing on water outlets throughout our schools. We are pleased to report that the vast majority of outlets meet New York State’s strict safety standard of 5 parts per billion. Any outlet that exceeded this limit has been taken out of service, clearly marked, and is undergoing remediation and retesting.
