About Peachjar e-fliers

Like many school districts across the nation, Johnson City Central School District (JCCSD) has discovered that the old practice of sending hard copy fliers home in student backpacks is not as effective in today’s digital world. To ensure parents have quick and easy access to important information, we are transitioning to a digital flier delivery system. The district has contracted with Peachjar to provide a digital e-flier service. Peachjar sends approved fliers directly to parents’ email inbox and posts them online on all school websites. With Peachjar, parents can easily find and view fliers, and take action immediately to sign up for activities and events. All fliers may be accessed by clicking on the Peachjar button from the associated school site.

Peachjar has many benefits for parents, students, community organizations, and school staff, including:

  • keeps parents informed about school activities and community events/resources
  • saves trees by reducing the amount of paper printed
  • reduces copy costs by thousands of dollars
  • removes the administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers of making copies and stuffing backpacks
  • ensures students stay focused on important academic and extracurricular activities, instead of delivering paperwork to their parents


Information for Community Organizations


Some local school districts have discovered that the old practice of sending hard copy fliers home in student backpacks is not as effective in today’s digital world. Beginning in Spring 2019, the Johnson City Central School District (JCCSD) will begin sending digital fliers directly to parents. The district has contracted with Peachjar to provide this digital e-flier service.

Peachjar provides an innovative flier management system that sends approved fliers directly to parents’ email inbox and posts them online on all school websites. With Peachjar, parents can easily find and view fliers, and take action immediately to sign up for activities and events. Paper fliers will no longer be distributed.

If you wish to distribute fliers to JCCSD parents, you may register for a Peachjar account as a “Program Provider” and upload your flier for distribution to your desired schools within JCCSD. Peachjar does charge a fee to Program Providers, but it is significantly less than the cost of printing fliers for our 2,700 students. The cost is $25 per school, per flier, per month with options to purchase bulk rate packages. Peachjar accepts payment with a credit card or through a PayPal account.

Once you create a Peachjar account, you will upload fliers for approval by the district. Please be aware of the district’s Guidelines for Online Flier Distribution which can be found below. Most importantly, an organization requesting flier distribution must be a qualified non-profit with proof of non-profit status. The information on the flier must serve to benefit students and must not interfere, conflict, or compete with programs offered by JCCSD. Use of the district’s flier distribution system shall be under the supervision and control of the Superintendent or designees(s). The district reserves the right to deny any request.

The process to register with Peachjar is easy:

  1. Visit www.Peachjar.com and click 'Sign Up'
  2. Enter email address and choose 'Program Provider' as your Account Type
  3. Enter User Information and Business Information (first and last name, username, password, org name, category, org type, and location)

Flier Approval Guidelines

Johnson City Central School District cooperates with community groups and organizations that sponsor activities of an educational/enrichment nature for students and staff by allowing them to distribute materials electronically. Click on the Peachjar logo below to submit your request.

Johnson City Central School District approves the distribution of:

  • Fliers that promote an educational experience for students or parents, a healthy use of leisure time and/or a special enrichment activity.
  • Information targeted to staff that announces job-related activities and instructional opportunities related to the JCCSD curriculum.

Johnson City Central School District does not approve the distribution of:
  • Materials for projects, activities or programs that would publicize or promote a particular political party, political organization or political viewpoint.
  • Materials for projects, activities or programs that would publicize or promote a particular church, religious organization or religious viewpoint.
  • Materials for events deemed not suitable for children.

All fliers to be distributed must:

  • Be in PDF format and smaller than 6 MB.
  • Contain font sizes not less than size 12.
  • Contain the name and contact information of the sponsoring entity.
