LINK: October 8 letter regarding JC Middle School schedule changes

October 8: The Johnson City Middle School will reopen for hybrid instruction on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Contact tracing has been completed by the Broome County Health Department and the middle school has been cleared to resume in-person learning. The building has been cleaned with extra attention to high touch/high traffic areas. Staff is looking forward to welcoming the students back.

Middle School Student Schedules 

The Parent Portal containing middle school student schedules is now available in Powerschool. 

The first group of students are designated as 6-1, 7-1, 8-1 (aka: the "JC" or "A" group). These students will have in-person instruction on Mondays, Wednesday and alternating Fridays.

The second group of students are designated as 6-2, 7-2, 8-2 (aka: the "Wildcat" or "B" group). These students will have in-person instruction on Tuesdays, Thursdays and alternating Fridays.

Please log into your Parent Portal account to find the information regarding your middle school student(s). Your child's daily schedule is available in Powerschool and will be mailed home the week of September 7. If you have any questions regarding scheduling, please call the middle school office at 930-1012.

September 12: If you are a parent/caregiver for a current JC 8th-grade student and need to pick up items from the previous school year, you may call the main office at 930-1012 to make arrangements. Pick-up information for previous 6th-grade and 8th-grade students is forthcoming.
