Middle school students learn about dairy from visiting interactive mobile display

This week, members of the New York Animal Agriculture Coalition brought their large, mobile "Dairy Springs" exhibit to the middle school. Stationed behind the building, the air-conditioned truck offered students an interactive walk-through experience to learn a wealth of facts about dairy and dairy farming, from the technology used to gather milk to transportation, health facts, and the many foods made from dairy. As a bonus, students from Mrs. Halladay's class were on hand to hand out free ice cream cones to visiting students and staff! To learn more about the NYAAC, visit
