In honor of #MemorialDay on May 25, our third-grade teachers continued their annual tradition of having their students place paper flags with messages of thanks at the graves of veterans at Calvary Cemetery in JC. Soldiers from the 698th Quartermaster Company were on hand at the cemetery to talk about Memorial Day. Afterward, the students were allowed to explore a Humvee on the school campus and ask the soldiers questions in the classroom.
