Dear Wildcat Community,
As we begin another school year, we want to remind everyone that we take all social media threats seriously, no matter their nature. Like many schools across our country, state and region, the Johnson City Central School District has received reports and investigated online social media posts which contain threatening content. All reports and investigations have been deemed non-specific to JC and not credible by law enforcement. Student and staff safety is our top priority, and we are committed to working closely with local law enforcement agencies to investigate and address any potential risks. If you come across any threats or concerning activity online, please report it immediately to a trusted adult or school personnel. Together, we can ensure a safe environment for everyone in our school community.
