JC Board of Education recognizes JC Summer Enrichment coordinator and student helpers for outstanding work

On the evening of September 23, Superintendent Race proudly introduced the Board of Education Student Recognition, honoring a group of dedicated students who stepped up to support the district’s summer enrichment camps. These students were recognized for their initiative, reliability, and willingness to take on the challenge of helping younger students during the summer. Superintendent Race expressed his hope that their experience was both rewarding and inspiring.

He also introduced Ms. Mical Williams, the coordinator of the summer enrichment program, which hosted approximately 500 students this past summer. Ms. Williams commended the student camp counselors for their support, self-reflection, dependability, and leadership. She highlighted how their contributions created meaningful opportunities for younger students to stay engaged and enriched throughout the summer.
