On Friday, May 15, more than 20 Johnson City High School students sponsored the annual Senior-to-Senior Dance at the Johnson City Senior Center. The students decorated, ran the raffles, and danced the night away with more than 100 Broome County senior citizens. The event was a collaboration among Johnson City High School Student Government, JC Connects Community Schools, JC Senior Center, the Broome County Office for Aging, and Binghamton University.
A special thank you to Kelly Earley, our high school's Culinary Arts teacher, who prepared the meal alongside our high school students. The event wouldn't have been possible without the generous support of our community partners, including JC Walmart, Batch Coffee, and JC Home Depot.
