
Before the end of the school year, Superintendent Race and the Board of Education recognized high school students who earned their Seal of Biliteracy. To earn the designation, each student had to meet the criteria established by the Board of Regents and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in one or more languages, in addition to English. We congratulate Fadwa Lamghari, Samaiya Bonilla, Tatnagon Nakhanthy, Natalia Seeley, Jimena Marroquin, Yevhenii Tkachuk, Kezian Williamson, Keith Roerk, Najila Bakhtani, Javier Perez-Morales, and Malaz Farag.
Students who earned their Seal of Civic Readiness were also recognized for their work identifying local civic issues and designing projects to take informed action to address them.
