Officer CiociWe are proud to announce that one of our school resource officers has been nationally recognized. This spring, Johnson City High School's School Resource Officer, Louis Cioci, was inducted into the National Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame and given the Courage in Service Award. Officer Cioci was among only 11 police officers nationwide to be inducted at this year's ceremony.

On May 21, Chief Brent Dodge from the Johnson City Police Department joined school administrators at the high school to recognize Officer Cioci.

"We are extremely proud to be able to recognize someone who is a true pillar of support in our school community," said Johnson City High School Principal Fred Deinhardt. "Officer Cioci plays a vital role in strengthening the bridge between our school, the broader Johnson City community, and the police department."

We are incredibly proud of Officer Cioci for his well-deserved national recognition.
