JC Rotary donates booklets about the Constitution to the U.S. History classes

In recognition of Constitution Day on September 17, the Johnson City Rotary Club donated 180 books to the junior classes of the Social Studies Department this week, supporting their study of United States History and the Constitution during the current school year. Rotary President and Your Home Library Director, Ben Lainhart, along with Rotary member Mary Kay Roland (Class of 1969), presented the books to juniors from Mr. Jeff Smith's class, who will distribute them to the rest of the junior class. The donation demonstrates the Johnson City Rotary's literacy initiative, which is visible throughout the district.
