We are very proud to announce Elisabeth “Libbie” Haller, science teacher at Johnson City Middle School was the recent recipient of the Science Teachers Association of New York State (STANYS) Excellence in Science Teaching Award at the STANYS Annual Conference held in Rochester. Libbie was selected for exemplifying excellence in teaching, leading and providing opportunities for all students to participate and learn science.
In 2018, she was given the distinction of being named a New York State Master Teacher by the NYS Master Teacher program for her passion for STEM learning and collaborating with colleagues to inspire students.
