Today marked the first day of Broome-Tioga BOCES' annual Engineering Days Event. The day's activities featured area high school science students working in teams and competing in a timed challenge to build a launching device that would send a foam ball into or through several targets. We had 19 students from JC High School using their creativity and problem-solving skills to make their launching devices. We look forward to seeing our middle school and elementary school teams in action as Engineering Days continues on Wednesday and Thursday.
