In celebration of the fall season, Megan Ryan's 1st graders had fun today participating in activities involving apples. Using red delicious apples, they learned how to make homemade applesauce. They also held a taste test and sampled gala, red delicious and Ginger Gold apples. Finally, they enjoyed eating their applesauce and drinking apple cider.
