Our 5th-grade classes took part in a Children's Peace Fair at the elementary school today. The event, coinciding with the International Day of Living Together in Peace, provided the students with an eclectic array of activities, including a magic show, drumming, and rock painting. The students also learned about beekeeping, composting with worms, and more. The event was made possible by the Veterans for Peace, Stu Naismith Chapter, and the Broome County Peace Action.
