The Board of Education recognized Susan Anderson for consistently going above and beyond to support students and staff, and for making meaningful and memorable events possible for our high school community. Her efforts include:
Coordinating multiple Blood Drives with the Red Cross
--Organizing Homecoming, including the court, voting, and ceremony
--Recruiting and managing student volunteers for Freshman Orientation.
--Assisting with After Prom each year
--Helping with both June and August graduation ceremonies
--Organizing student participation in the end-of-year luncheon for summer staff
--Organizing student participation for the Senior Scholarship Awards Dinner.
--Taking on and supporting the Senior Class Advisor role during a transition period
--Leading efforts to welcome students back each fall with student-created signage
--Helping organize fundraisers for the senior class and the concessions stand
Her leadership and commitment have significantly enriched the student experience and strengthened school traditions.
