On November 12, senior athlete Ashlyn Balchikonis signed her college letter of intent in a small ceremony with her parents, sister and lacrosse coach by her side. She will be attending Daemen College next fall and looks forward to being a member of the women's lacrosse team and majoring in psychology.
Ashlyn has been playing lacrosse for Johnson City since 7th grade and this spring will mark her fourth year as a varsity member. In addition to lacrosse, she also plays volleyball for JC and looks forward to being a member of the indoor track team this school year.
