Throughout May, students in Dr. Shipp’s dual-credit Effective Speaking classes have been sharing their TED Talk-style presentations. The project requires students to choose their own topic, conduct thorough research, and present it individually to their classmates. Topics have ranged from "The Power of Storytelling" and "Can We Stay Curious in a World of Information?" to "Jordan's Shoe Industry" and "More Than Music: The Art and History of Vinyl." After the talks, the presenters answer questions from their classmates.
