On April 28, Johnson City High School received a $1,200 donation from Miller Honda through the dealership’s Cash for Classrooms program. The district was one of 30 local schools selected by Miller Honda customers at the time of vehicle purchase.
Miller Auto Used Car Manager Matt Miller stated that the program was designed to give back to area school districts and provide support to teachers and staff. In addition to the monetary donation, faculty and staff at participating high schools were offered discounts through the Miller Auto Team as part of the initiative.
The Board expressed appreciation for the community partnership and the support provided to Johnson City schools.
