Mrs. Becker and Mrs. Grimaldi’s second graders recently visited the Chenango Bridge One-Room Schoolhouse Museum, where they experienced what school was like in the past.
During the visit, students explored the historic classroom, learned about daily routines from long ago, and participated in hands-on activities that brought history to life.
The trip connected directly to classroom learning and encouraged students to ask questions, make observations, and reflect on how education has changed over time. It was a meaningful and engaging experience that helped deepen their understanding of local history.
