At its most recent meeting, the Johnson City Board of Education recognized the JC Middle School Olympiad team, which recently competed in the regional competition. All participating students received medals for their events: Isaiah Kachmarik, LezRay Johnson, Sky Yagley, Henry Zelesnikar, and Coach Christopher Ruston.
Superintendent Race and President Matyas expressed pride in the students who chose to participate in these extracurricular activities. They commended the students' initiative and encouraged them to continue engaging in these opportunities, noting that such involvement helps broaden their perspective while allowing them to have fun.
