JC Elementary's School Resource Officer Dennis "DJ" Pavelski had his head shaved on February 13 to raise awareness for childhood cancer research. To date, he has raised approximately $900! Officer Pavelski participated in the challenge through the St. Baldrick's Foundation's Conquer Kids’ Cancer initiative, and WBNG, Fox 40, and Newschannel 34 were all on hand to document the special event.
