At this week's Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Race introduced Music Coordinator Jennifer Chudacik, who provided an overview of the rigorous selection process for students participating in the NYSSMA competitions. She noted that JCCSD is part of one of the largest NYSSMA zones in New York State, where students audition through choir, band, or orchestra for admission to the NYSSMA Area All-State Junior and Senior High School Music Festivals, as well as NYSSMA All-State.
Mrs. Chudacik recognized the dedication and musical excellence of eight students who achieved this prestigious honor:
