Sophomore class officers spearhead Valentine's Day Cards for Seniors effort at JCHS

As part of their random acts of kindness efforts, sophomore class officers Dayana Perez-Morales, Nicki Yu, Sy-nesa Crampton, Nadira Delk, and Cassandra Groome spearheaded Senator Lea Webb's Third Annual Valentines for Seniors Card Drive this week at Johnson City High School. The students reached out to JC winter sports teams, classmates, and high school staff, and provided materials for card-making. Today, sophomore class advisor Trish Carpenter delivered more than 200 JC-made cards to Senator Webb’s Binghamton office. They will be added to a growing collection that will soon be distributed to local nursing home and adult care residents, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Nice job, sophomore class officers and card makers!
