On Thursday, high school students in Mrs. Mann's dual-credit EDU 111-Foundations of American Education class visited Ms. Hollenbeck and Ms. Steele's 1st-grade classrooms to deliver lessons on understanding and managing emotions. Through rotating stations, including a read-aloud, art activity, dance session, and stress ball making, the 1st-graders gained tools to navigate complex emotions.
The EDU 111 course is designed for students who are considering pursuing a teaching certification in the future.
It was an excellent collaboration and learning experience for all!
