Indoor track team assists American Legion for community service project

Members of the high school's indoor track team braved the cold weather on December 9 to assist American Legion Post 758 and remove U.S. flags from the graves of veterans at Calvary Cemetery between Fairview Street and Harry L. Drive. Each year, approximately 4,000 flags are removed from the cemetery in preparation for winter. The collaboration with the American Legion has been a proud community service project for the district’s high school students since 2012.
