Third-grade students in Mrs. Perez, Mrs. Pellicciotti, Miss Longo and Ms. Shupp's classes recently attended a virtual author read-aloud event through Scholastic. Students listened as author Peter H. Reynolds read aloud his new holiday book, "The Gift of Words." After the read-aloud, the author guided students through drawing their own word tree just like the one he created in his book.
