Representatives from school in Queens visit JCHS to share experiences as a CTE School
Six high school students and three educators from Thomas A. Edison Career & Technical High School in Queens, NY, visited our high school this week to meet with administrators, staff, and students and visit our classrooms. As Johnson City High School begins its journey as a Performance-Based Learning and Assessment Networks (PLAN) pilot program school, the visitors shared valuable insights on their own experiences as a school that offers Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities for students and how it has opened new possibilities for curriculum, instruction, assessment, and program opportunities.
We thank the Thomas A Edison Career & Technical High School for serving as a mentor school and look forward to their continued partnership.
