In recognition of Earth Day on April 22, Dr. Mark Falinski visited Miss Falinski and Miss Palmer’s 3rd-grade classes. He is a Doctor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering and works for a company based in New York City called Finch, where he is the head of Research and Sustainability. "Dr. Mark" did a presentation on sea level rise and showed how water treatment works. He then worked with students to conduct experiments focusing on these two topics.
