Fishing trip on Lake Ontario

HS students participate in Cops 4 a Cause fishing trip

fishing tripOn April 23, several Johnson City High School students participated in the 2nd annual Fishing 4 The Fallen event on Lake Ontario. JCHS School Resource Officer Lou Cioci, Teaching Assistant Mitch Brower and Johnson City Police Department, NY Officer Furman joined students Dayzin Legare, Maurice Johnson and Cheyenne McPeek for a fun-filled day of fishing, food and camaraderie. 

The event is made possible by Cops 4 a Cause with the help of Dirty Goose Sportfishing and numerous sport fishing charters and is conducted to honor fallen police officers from across New York state.

Cops 4 a Cause is a non-profit charity comprised of active and retired NY law enforcement members who provide financial support to organizations, individuals and families and strive to give back to their communities through positive public interactions.
