Entrepreneur Adam Weitsman, owner and CEO of Upstate Shredding, visited the Johnson City Middle School on January 27 to speak to students in the Liberty Partnership program. He shared his life story and spoke about how he became a successful businessman and philanthropist.
The Liberty Partnership program is affiliated with Binghamton University and supports 360 students from Binghamton, Susquehanna Valley, Johnson City and Union-Endicott School Districts each year. Full-time staff members dedicated to identifying and supporting students are placed in each school to fully integrate the program’s support services into the district.
