1st Place Marching Wildcats in the 49th Annual Columbus Day Tournament of Bands

The marching band participates every year at the following parade events: The New York State Fair Parade Competition, The Columbus Day Tournament of Bands Parade, the Johnson City Holiday and Memorial Day Parades. The marching band has won the Columbus Day Tournament Of Bands Parade a total of 20 years, and the New York State Fair Parade Competition a total of 8 years.
 

In November of 2001 and 2005, the Johnson City Marching  Band performed for 1.5 million people live at the Toronto Santa Claus Parade. The Wildcat Marching Band also appeared at the Preakness Parade in Baltimore, Maryland in May of 2005. In 2007, the Marching Wildcats performed for thousands of people in the Niagara Falls Santa Claus parade.
 

The 2004 New York State Fair Parade Competition was cancelled. The Wildcat Marching Band is the reigning 2003 State Fair Champions. The Marching Band participated in the 2005, 2006, and 2007 NY State Fair Parade Exhibitions.
 

The 2007, 49th Annual Columbus Day Tournament of Bands featured 11 bands from New York State and Northern Pennsylvania. Thousands of people lined the streets of Binghamton to watch the marching bands march down Main Street. The Wildcat Marching Band placed 1st in the Large School Division with a score of 98.0 that matches their all-time best score for this parade. The Wildcats bested their rivals, the Union Endicott Tigers and the Vestal Golden Bears Marching Bands. The Wildcat Color Guard also took 1st place in the Large School Division. Drum Majors Matt Roe and Danielle Dingman placed 2nd in the Large School Division Drum Major competition. The Wildcats had also recently placed 1st in years 2002 through 2004 and now has won the Columbus Day Tournament Of Bands Parade for a total of 20 years,
